2026! This year I have set myself a challenge to run at least 1040 kms (20kms/week) to help raise awareness and money for Epilepsy.
18 months ago, while in the final stages of completing both her Bachelor Degree & Masters, my daughter had a seizure, the first of many that still continue as it turns out. Enter the life changing world of Epilepsy. Falling into the medication resistant category, it has been a complicated and challenging journey so far. We are extremely grateful for the support and medical care provided to us.
Naturally, we have since learned a lot about epilepsy however initially, like most, we knew very little. As such I am helping to raise awareness & funds for Epilepsy WA because I am inspired by their work as they try and bring "epilepsy out of the shadows". The difference they have made to so many people is just amazing and I know there are so many others that would benefit from their work. As they receive no regular government funding they rely on donations to make things happen. Please help me support their work by donating to my CrowdRaiser, I know they will appreciate any & every cent received (and I will be very grateful too๐โ๏ธ!) If you can't donate, please show your support to help raise awareness by sharing the link to my CrowdRaiser page to your friends and family. The more people who are aware, and can help, the better! A few supportive thumbs up when I provide progress updates and information will also be gratefully received! ๐
Thank you ๐๐ป๐
