Stanford Brown is continuing its commitment to the Kookaburra Kids Foundation Limited by raising much-needed funds. This incredible charity is dedicated to supporting children aged 8 to 18 who are growing up in families impacted by mental illness - cause that truly “walks the walk and talks the talk.”
Kookaburra Kids makes a real difference by offering direct support to empower young people to rise above the challenges that come with having a loved one struggling with mental illness. The foundation was established by Dianne Madden, who saw firsthand the lack of support available for children in these situations. In response, Kookaburra Kids has launched several life-changing initiatives: they provide respite for children, organise camps where kids are mentored away from the disruptions of daily life, and offer opportunities for children to connect with others who share similar family stories. These experiences are designed to give children hope, community, and the tools they need to thrive.
At Stanford Brown, we recognise that mental health can impact anyone’s well-being, no matter their age. We believe it’s essential to acknowledge the unique hurdles faced by children in families affected by mental illness, and to extend support wherever possible. The positive changes brought about by the Kookaburra Kids Foundation are truly extraordinary, and we are eager to see even more children benefit from their programs.
But to do that, they need our help. That’s why we’re inviting you to support their vital work by donating to our CrowdRaiser. Every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference - and we know both the foundation and the children they serve will be deeply grateful for your generosity. Your support will not only help change lives, but it will also show these children that they are seen, valued, and not alone.
Thank you so much for paying your fine/donation and for standing with us in supporting Kookaburra Kids.
